Caring for our youngest children, the baby room is a calm, colourful and loving place for babies from birth to one-and-a-half years. In a safe and secure environment, our babies are able to grow in a place full of love and cuddles, supported all the way by a committed and devoted team. Each baby is treated as an individual so that their unique needs can be met and their own personalities and characteristics can be developed. 

Our nationally qualified staff are based in the room permanently to provide consistency and continuity for our babies and to get to know intimately the needs and traits of each individual baby. 

Our youngest babies from birth upwards are looked after in their own quiet & cosy area of the room, filled with soft cushions and toys, colourful displays and mobiles. This is a happy place with plenty of time for hugs & cuddles in an environment which is safe for those first awkward steps.

Older babies can enjoy free play, group story time, singing sessions and structured play, promoting their social skills and satisfying their inquisitive minds. The carers that work with children in this age group are aware that each child needs someone to talk and listen to them at their own level. Every day is a new experience; sand, water, collages, building, baking, puzzles and the home corner are just a few of the activities which help the development of our children.

GETTING INVOLVED
We know how important it is for parents to be kept up to date with what their baby is doing at nursery to ensure continuity with home and to make sure that those 'special moments' aren't missed. Each day, parents are given 'Today I...' sheets to keep them informed about their child's day.
