Pre-school Room: 2½ to 5 years

 
The bright and airy pre-school room is devoted to preparing our two-and-a-half to five year olds for "big school". The stimulating setting and large range of resources allows the Pre-schoolers to experience a wide range of activities in an environment where they are treated with respect as individuals.

Stimulated to stretch their skills and imagination, our children feel successful and special a they work alongside our devoted staff one-on-one and in group sessions to give them a head start when they make the transition to school. Each child's individual strengths and weaknesses are taken into account to plan fun and engaging activities to help develop their skills, alongside the National Foundation Stage Curriculum.

We work closely with local schools to develop activities and skills which will help the transition once our children have left nursery.

We encourage all our children to develop their independence and freedom, whether that is choosing from a selection of healthy treats at snack time, or using our wide range of equipment. Social development is furthered to help encourage happy, co-operative and polite pre-schoolers.
