OFSTED

Our nursery is regularly inspected by the nurseries inspector OFSTED, allowing them to spend 1 – 2 days checking all aspects of the care and education we offer. We are given no warning of the visit, as Ofsted’s aim is to view the nursery under normal operating conditions.

We aim to provide the best possible care at our nursery not merely to be governed by the minimum as prescribed in The National Standards.  We were therefore delighted to receive the “good” mark in all areas following our last inspection in 2007. Here are some comments from our most recent Ofsted Inspection Report:

"STAFF HAVE DEVELOPED WARM AND EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH THE CHILDREN. THEY ARE KIND AND CARING AND CHILDREN RECEIVE HIGH LEVELS OF INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION ALONG WITH REGULAR CUDDLES."

"STAFF PROVIDE A STIMULATING, FRIENDLY AND WELL ORGANISED ENVIRONMENT WHICH ENABLES CHILDREN TO ENJOY THEIR PLAY AND LEARNING EXPERIENCES."

"CHILDREN'S BEHAVIOUR IS GOOD DUE TO THE CALM, POSITIVE AND CONSISTENT METHODS STAFF USE FOR MANAGING BEHAVIOUR. THEY ENJOY EACH OTHER'S COMPANY AND PLAY CO-OPERATIVELY TOGETHER."

"CHILDREN ARE HAPPY AND MOTIVATED AND CONCENTRATE AND PARTICIPATE WITH ENTHUSIASM. CHILDREN CONFIDENTLY TALK TO EACH OTHER AND ADULTS, ASKING QUESTIONS AND SEEKING SUPPORT WHEN NECESSARY."
